Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?
Last week for Tot school we read Brown Bear... by Eric Carle
Brown Bear Basket
Tot Trays: Top; Minute to Win it game, glueing paper leaves, Triangle game w/ pom poms
Bottom; Blocks, Mr. Potato head, Brown Bear Basket, (not shown, stringing pasta)
I really thought Lil D would like the Brown Bear Activities but Big D enjoyed them more. Hmmm, the best laid plans never actually go as you plan.
Shadow MatchingMatching heads & tails...
Lil D's tot tray; pasta stringing
Trying to put Nuts & Bolts together...
Puzzle Time...
Big D's creation...
Anything he could find in the room he used for his building
We worked on Letter E this week also...
Our Bible Verse for letter E was... The Eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3
I really like this cd because it is all scripture put into melodies which makes it easier for my boys to remember.
Then the rulers came out (the boys had been playing construction earlier and their tools came to the table with them, hence the rulers "measure twice cut once") It was fun watching Lil D draw with his ruler! He figured out very quickly how to hold the ruler to draw a straight line.
Big D also used his ruler to make a railroad track and then cut it out...
Lil D stringing on shapes...
We went to Nana's house later that week, Lil D loves doing this activity with her...Playing with the GuideCraft
We had a fun week! I didn't really have a plan for this past week since it was right after Thanksgiving, but we made it work and had a fun time!
Thanks for taking the time to visit!
Blessings!!!
